Ice Blasting can be used to clean years of dirt, underwax, grease and loose paint/ loose rust (it will not remove anything that is not already loose) with no chemicals quickly and efficiently.  The big benefits are that the process is non abrasive, no chemicals and no mess.  As the process is non abrasive, it will not damage those all important parts underneath the dirt, and it can be used on everything from delicate parts such as electrics, upholstery and touch screens, to hard impact areas such as full underbodys, wheel arches and engine bays.

We use the fantastic ICS030 machine which has a unique scrambler system which means we can easily adjust our machine to handle all areas of the car with ease, getting into all of those gaps that are impossible to reach with brushes and clothes.  The process is perfect for all types of vehicles as there are no chemicals to worry about.

Frozen Co2 pellets are loaded into the machine which are then propelled at high speeds by compressed air onto the surface to be treated.  On impact, the dry ice pellets undergo sublimation (science talk) meaning that they turn instantly from solid to gas (skipping the liquid phase!).  This change makes a mini-explosion on the surface and blasts all the dirt, grime and years of contamination away, leaving no residue other than the dirt to sweep away!  As there is no liquid produced it is safe to use on electrical components and upholstery.

At CS Ice Blast we offer both mobile and on-site blasting,  however, underbody blasting can only be done onsite as it requires a ramp.  Engine bays and wheel arches can be done on our mobile  service.
